In a seemingly inflexible and static industry, our team helped spacelyst digitize an old industry by transforming, visualizing and making data accessible and transparent. The collective end goal was to support users in making informed and educated decisions. Our challenge here was to give color to items and data that in the past were dull and hard to access or manage.
To ensure a truly relevant & great experience for spacelyst’s target users, we collaborated with spacelyst on a brand statement and identified personas and main users. With this understanding, we dove into translating spacelyst’s users’ conversion and pain points, informing our ability to empathize with the people at the center of the design process. Ultimately, we were able to customize a relevant experience for each end user.

UX Strategy
Through design exercises such as creating a UX inventory, performing audits and heuristic analysis on spacelyst’s current demo site, our mission was to outline interaction requirements for each wireframe needed and to make modifications to improve the current user experience and conversion flows.
To ensure a coherent brand identity, and support spacelyst as their product continues to evolve, we provided creative direction and foundation in the form of a design system. The design system is a toolbox that gives spacelyst the flexibility to grow without boundaries, while also providing creative direction from component to identity.
